NYSC Introduces New Scheme For Corps Members
Members of the National Youth Service Corps are now covered by a comprehensive insurance scheme, according to the Director-General, Brigadier General Yusha’u Ahmed.
The new policy was introduced to provide financial protection for corps members during their service year, covering risks such as accidents, health emergencies, and unforeseen incidents.
Officials say the scheme is part of broader efforts to improve welfare and safety, especially as corps members are deployed across different parts of the country.
The development is expected to ease concerns among families and reinforce confidence in the programme, as authorities continue to address challenges faced by participants.
