The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, is set to be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025, The PUNCH Online has learned.
Sources revealed that his nomination has received approval from Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
It was also gathered that a state delegation met with Ladoja and other members of the Olubadan-In-Council at his Bodija residence on Wednesday.
Confirming the development, Adeola Oloko, a media aide to the Olubadan-designate, told PUNCH Online:
“Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025. The ceremony will hold at the historic Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital.”
The enthronement follows Ladoja’s meeting with the kingmakers at his residence on Tuesday.
