Police Reopens PDP Secretariat
The Nigeria Police Force has reopened the Peoples Democratic Party headquarters at Wadata Plaza in Abuja, returning control to the party’s leadership.
The action followed compliance with a court directive.
The reopening also covered Legacy House in Maitama, both key properties linked to the party’s operations.
Authorities handed them back to National Chairman Abdulrahman Takushara and National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu.
The move came after legal proceedings over control of the properties, which had earlier been sealed. The court ruling paved the way for the police to restore access to the party officials.
With the buildings unsealed, the party is expected to resume full activities at its national offices.
The development marks a new phase in resolving the internal dispute affecting its operations.
