Nigeria’s Super Eagles will meet Mozambique in the Round of 16 of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations as the chase for a fourth continental title continues.
The Eagles wrapped up the group stage with a 3-1 win over Uganda on Tuesday, completing a flawless run after earlier victories against Tanzania and Tunisia. The results ensured Eric Chelle’s side finished top of their group with the maximum nine points.
Mozambique, meanwhile, progressed after finishing third in Group F, securing qualification among the best third-placed teams.
Both sides will clash in Fez on Monday, January 5, with a place in the AFCON 2025 quarter-finals on the line.
