Tinubu Aide Quits For Kano Race
In Abuja, Nasir Bala Aminu Ja’oji has resigned as Senior Special Assistant to Bola Ahmed Tinubu to contest for the House of Representatives.
He aims to represent Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano.
Ja’oji announced his exit in a farewell message, saying “careful consideration” guided his decision. He noted his desire to serve at a broader democratic level through legislative work.
He expressed gratitude to the president for the opportunity, describing his time in office as rewarding.
He said, “It is with a deep sense of gratitude and humility that I formally bid farewell as I step down from my position as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Citizenship and Leadership.”
He added that the move is driven by his commitment to public service and development at the grassroots.
He also appreciated colleagues and supporters, saying he would carry the experience into his next political step.
