Tinubu Doesn’t Own APC – Kalu
In Abuja, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Ben Kalu said no single person owns the All Progressives Congress, including President Bola Tinubu.
He made the remark while addressing party members amid ongoing talks about internal unity and leadership.
Kalu stated that the ruling party was built on collective effort and shared vision, not personal control.
He noted that while Tinubu remains a key figure in the APC, the structure and strength of the party rest on its members across the country.
His comment comes at a time of rising political conversations within the party ahead of future contests.
There have been growing discussions about influence, loyalty and the direction of the APC as preparations quietly begin.
The Deputy Speaker urged members to focus on unity and internal democracy, saying the party must remain open and inclusive to sustain its position.
He maintained that leadership in the APC should reflect teamwork rather than individual dominance.
