Tinubu Far Ahead Of Rivals – Keyamo
The Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a seasoned political tactician as preparations for the 2027 elections gather pace.
The remark was shared on Sunday through his X account, where he pointed to Tinubu’s long political journey. He said the President’s rise from opposition politics shaped his current strength.
He explained that Tinubu’s experience as a former opposition leader gives him a strong advantage over rivals.
According to him, the President understands the tactics used by opposition parties better than anyone. He noted that this background allows Tinubu to anticipate moves before they unfold.
Keyamo also reflected on Tinubu’s political past, recalling his time as a lone opposition governor in the South-West after the 2007 elections.
He said that period helped the President build deep knowledge of political strategy. He added that many of today’s opposition methods were originally shaped by Tinubu himself.
The minister concluded that Tinubu’s understanding of political manoeuvres puts him far ahead of competitors.
His remarks come as parties intensify preparations and alliances ahead of the next general election. Political activities across the country continue to build as 2027 approaches.
