Tinubu’s Administration Counters US Warnings
The federal government under Bola Tinubu has said Nigeria remains safe for business and daily life despite a recent advisory by the United States.
Officials maintained that economic and social activities continue without disruption across the country.
The response followed a security warning that led to the evacuation of non-essential staff from the US embassy in Abuja.
Authorities in Nigeria described the move as a routine precaution rather than a reflection of widespread insecurity.
Minister of Information Mohammed Idris said there is no breakdown of law and order, noting that most parts of the country remain stable.
He added that ongoing security operations have reduced criminal activities in affected areas.
The government also assured investors that Nigeria remains open for business, pointing to reforms and continued global engagement.
It urged international partners to assess the situation with balanced information while reaffirming efforts to protect lives and property.
