Victor Osimhen facing pressure from Napoli to join Al-Hilal while he prefers Galatasaray

The Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, is facing a career dilemma. Napoli is pressuring him to join Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, while his preference is to continue with Galatasaray in Turkey.
Osimhen had a successful loan spell at Galatasaray last season, contributing significantly to their league and cup victories with 37 goals and 8 assists in 41 games across all competitions.
Galatasaray is eager to secure him permanently and has agreed on personal terms, matching his wage demands.
However, they are facing difficulties in paying the €75 million release clause stipulated in his contract.
This fee was agreed upon last summer, reduced from an initial €150 million after a failed transfer attempt.
The agreement also included Osimhen signing a new deal.
The release clause is only applicable to teams outside Italy and expires today. If not met, Osimhen’s contract with Napoli, which has one year remaining, will automatically extend by another year, strengthening Napoli’s negotiating position.
Al-Hilal is ready to pay Victor Osimhen’s entire £75 million release clause upfront.
Galatasaray, however, has proposed to pay the same amount in installments over four years, with extra conditions attached.
Napoli prefers the immediate payment to fund their own transfers, which is why they are encouraging Osimhen to consider Al-Hilal’s offer.
