Music icon 2Face Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, have celebrated the arrival of their first child together, a baby girl.
Rumours began circulating on Friday evening when Natasha was spotted at a hospital, fueling speculation that she was about to give birth. The speculation was soon confirmed when she took to her Facebook page to share the joyful news, posting simply: “It’s a Girl.”
The announcement quickly sparked an outpouring of congratulatory messages on social media. Fans and well-wishers celebrated the couple, with one person writing, “Love this for 2Baba and Natasha. God bless their new home,” while another added, “2Baba doesn’t waste time… Aww, welcome baby girl. Congratulations to the family.”
The arrival of their daughter follows 2Baba’s official divorce from his longtime wife, Annie Macaulay, earlier this year — a split that Annie later confirmed publicly at the 17th Headies Awards.
After the separation, 2Baba and Natasha made their relationship official and later held a traditional wedding ceremony, marking the beginning of their journey as a family ahead of their newborn’s arrival.
