Acting IGP Disu Vows To End Police Impunity
The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Disu, has declared that the police will now serve Nigerian citizens, insisting that the era of impunity within the force is over.
Disu stated that the main focus of his leadership is to ensure accountability and respect for the public, emphasising that officers must recognise that citizens are their ultimate authority.
The statement comes as part of ongoing efforts to reform the police and improve public trust in law enforcement across the country.
