Adamawa APC Membership Surge
Adamawa APC records over 200,000 members in e-registration drive
The Adamawa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has recorded more than 200,000 members in its ongoing electronic registration exercise, strengthening the party’s base in the state.
The party’s Organising Secretary, Mustapha Atiku Ribadu, revealed on Saturday that a total of 202,504 members have been registered so far.
He said the figure comprises 125,217 men and 77,287 women.
Ribadu stated that the party achieved its initial goal of registering 200,000 members before January 20, describing the result as the fulfilment of commitments made to party stakeholders.
According to him, the APC is now concentrating on reaching its next target of 300,000 registered members by January 31.
He urged ward agents and party officials to sustain the current tempo of the registration exercise.
Ribadu expressed confidence that the new target can be met if the momentum continues across wards in the state.
