ADC Youths Issues Ultimatum To INEC
The youth wing of the African Democratic Congress has given the Independent National Electoral Commission 72 hours to recognise the party leadership linked to a July 2025 NEC meeting.
The warning was issued during a press briefing held at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
The development unfolded on Monday, with the group insisting that the leadership structure led by Mark must be restored without delay. They warned that failure to act within the deadline could trigger a protest.
The youths said the demand followed internal party decisions reached at the NEC meeting, which they believe should stand as the legitimate structure.
They argued that continued uncertainty could weaken the party ahead of future political activities.
They added that peaceful protest remains an option if their demand is ignored, urging the electoral body to act quickly to avoid further tension within the party.
