Former Miss Nigeria and BBNaija contestant Beauty Tukura has revealed the intense emotional struggle she faced after being disqualified from the reality show, admitting that the experience pushed her to the brink of suicide.

Beauty described the overwhelming pressure, saying, “The heat was too much, and I felt like nothing I said would make sense because all they wanted to do was crucify me like Jesus. It was very hard.” She expressed frustration with social media users, noting that people rarely give others the grace to grow or change, forgetting that life is constantly evolving.

She recalled feeling too ashamed to face her parents. “I didn’t know how to see them. I was in a very bad place,” she said. Her parents, aware of her emotional nature, continued to send messages of love, reminding her that she was supported and valued.

The disqualification took a severe toll on her mental health. “I cried every day. I even thought about ending my life. I almost actually committed suicide,” Beauty admitted. Despite the harsh criticism and judgment from strangers, she found solace in her fans’ support, which she said helped her focus on the positive amid the negativity. “I decided to focus on the love, and since then, I’ve held onto that,” she added.

Reflecting on the experience, Beauty described it as a turning point. “That was the lowest point of my life, and I’ve decided it will remain the lowest. There’s no room for such mistakes anymore,” she said, acknowledging her mistakes and the lessons she learned.

Beauty’s candid account underscores the emotional challenges of reality TV and the importance of empathy, understanding, and mental-health support for contestants facing public scrutiny.
