The Confederation of African Football has announced the nominees in the men’s categories for the 2025 CAF Awards, which celebrate the continent’s finest performers across players, coaches, clubs, and national teams.
The awards acknowledge the influence of both players and coaches on African and global football between January 6 and October 15, 2025. The nominations recognise individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the sport throughout the continent.
According to a statement released on Monday on the CAF website, a panel comprising members of the CAF Technical & Development Committee, seasoned coaches, CAF Legends, and selected media professionals shortlisted 10 nominees in each category, taking into account performances across all competitions.
Cameroon’s Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah topped the list after impressive seasons with Napoli and Liverpool, respectively, alongside their contributions to their national teams.
