Ganduje’s Messaage As Kano Politics Change
Former APC national chairman Abdullahi Ganduje has opened the door to possible reconciliation with NNPP leader Rabiu Kwankwaso following recent political shifts in Kano State.
He spoke after Governor Abba Yusuf moved from the NNPP to the APC, a development that has reshaped the political balance in the state.
Ganduje said politics allows room for forgiveness and dialogue, adding that personal and long-standing ties should not be ignored.
According to him, the success of the current administration is tied to the collective success of everyone involved, stressing that political unity would help the state move forward.
Ganduje also addressed claims of a power-sharing deal between political blocs in Kano, saying there was no formal or written agreement to that effect.
He maintained that the priority of the party is good governance and policies that support ordinary people rather than internal arrangements.
He added that party leadership positions are temporary and will soon be decided through internal processes from the grassroots to the national level, noting that political structures would naturally reflect the choices made during that exercise.
