Governor Vows Justice After Plateau Killings
Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has instructed security agencies to step up operations and track down those behind Sunday’s deadly assault on Ratatis community in Dorowa Babuje, Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, where at least 10 residents were killed.
The directive followed reports that gunmen stormed the area, leaving families in grief and the community shaken.
The governor condemned the attack and assured residents that the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
Security forces have since been placed on alert, with intensified patrols and investigations underway to restore calm and prevent further violence in the area.
The latest bloodshed has again raised concerns over recurring attacks in parts of Plateau, as authorities move to tighten security and protect vulnerable communities.
