Refinery Moves To Flood Market With Petrol
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has sealed an offtake agreement with 12 leading petroleum marketing firms to supply between 60 million and 65 million litres of Premium Motor Spirit daily across Nigeria.
The deal is expected to strengthen fuel distribution nationwide, as the marketers will lift products directly from the refinery for onward supply to depots and filling stations.
Industry observers say the arrangement could improve product availability and reduce pressure on imports, given the refinery’s large production capacity.
The agreement marks a fresh phase in the refinery’s operations as it deepens its footprint in Nigeria’s downstream oil sector.
