Group Warns APP Over Osun Lawsuit
In Osogbo, the Omoluabi Ethos Monitoring Group cautioned the Action Peoples Party over its lawsuit against Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress.
The case challenges the credentials he submitted to Independent National Electoral Commission.
The group said the action may be driven by hidden political interests and warned it could backfire.
Its coordinator, Olawanle Aderemi, urged the party’s national leaders to monitor its Osun chapter closely.
He questioned why the matter was taken to court instead of relevant institutions, suggesting concerns over academic records should be addressed directly with schools like Obafemi Awolowo University.
The group maintained that the allegations lack basis, noting that Oyebamiji only presented WAEC and HND certificates.
It added that the court would decide the case and warned that those behind the suit may later abandon the party.
