31 APC Governors Storm Lagos
Governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress are gathering in Lagos for a key meeting under the Progressives Governors Forum.
The session is being hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island.
The meeting brings together 31 governors from across the country at a time when Bola Tinubu is also in Lagos for the Eid-el-Fitr break. The gathering comes amid growing political strength for the ruling party following recent defections.
Discussions are expected to focus on aligning state policies with the federal government’s agenda, as well as addressing national issues affecting governance.
Party leaders are also looking to strengthen coordination across states.
The forum, led by Hope Uzodimma, previously met in Lagos in December, where members reviewed security and expressed confidence in the country’s direction.
