I’m Not Bothered By APC’s 30 Govs – Obi
Peter Obi says the presence of about 30 state governors in the ruling All Progressives Congress will not shake his resolve ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The former Labour Party presidential candidate made it clear that the political strength of the ruling party at state level does not trouble him.
He spoke while addressing supporters and political associates, explaining that he remains focused on his vision for Nigeria despite the growing influence of the APC across many states.
Obi maintained that the number of governors in one party does not decide the will of the people during elections.
The former Anambra State governor also said he is aware that some political figures are trying to discourage him from joining the race again.
He added that such efforts will not stop him from pursuing what he believes is a mission to improve governance in the country.
Obi insisted that his commitment to building a better Nigeria remains firm.
According to him, political pressure or intimidation will not force him to step away from the path he has chosen.
