Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has refuted claims that she was arrested by the Nigerian Police. On Sunday night, she shared a video on Instagram showing herself enjoying a meal at home, proving she is not in custody.
Accompanying the video, Lizzy wrote, “Believe Esabod and Iyabo Ojo at your own risk,” directly dismissing the circulating rumours.
While she did not provide further details regarding any police complaint or investigation, she made it clear that she remains free and unharmed.
The online reports had linked her alleged arrest to a petition reportedly involving actors Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo, and Dayo Amusa. However, no law enforcement agency has confirmed the claims, and there has been no official statement from the police regarding Lizzy Anjorin’s arrest or any related charges.
