Reality star Phyna has accused the Dangote Group of reneging on an agreement to fly her sister abroad for urgent medical treatment, after the sibling was critically injured in an accident involving a Dangote truck.
In a recent update, Phyna revealed that her sister remains unconscious and that she has been in constant communication with the Dangote Group, providing medical updates. However, when she raised the plan to fly her sister out of the country, the group allegedly requested a report from the current hospital, claiming they could not manage her care in their facility.
Phyna expressed frustration, noting that the original agreement was for her sister to be stabilized locally before being flown abroad for proper treatment. She described the ongoing interactions as unnecessarily stressful and insensitive given the severity of her sister’s condition.
She shared a detailed account of the exchanges:
“Medical reports were sent to them, and I explained the urgency. I was told they would engage the medical team, but they meant the same team already handling her here, along with insurance. I was surprised—they kept insisting on a report from the hospital stating they cannot handle my sister, even though we already had an agreement that she would be stabilized here before traveling. Her lungs have fluid, her reproductive organs are crushed, and her bladder is damaged. Every day is a fight for her survival. Yet they keep delaying and trying to complicate matters. After that last demand, they stopped replying.”
Phyna insisted that her sister’s medical care remains her priority and warned that she would not compromise her sibling’s life over bureaucratic delays or “outsmarting” attempts. She indicated that she would soon outline further demands regarding her sister’s treatment, emphasizing that her focus is solely on securing urgent care abroad.
