Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has been named Premier League Manager of the Month for October, his first time receiving the accolade.
Since taking over at Old Trafford in November 2024, Amorim has guided United to three league victories in October, helping to ease early-season pressure. The month began with a win over Sunderland, followed by a historic 1-0 triumph at Liverpool—United’s first victory at Anfield since January 2016—and concluded with a 4-2 win against Brighton.
Amorim praised his players for their performances, saying, “The credit is not mine; it’s for my players. They performed exceptionally well, and our aim is to win the next award, because winning football matches is our true goal.”
This marks the first time a Manchester United manager has won the monthly award since Erik ten Hag in November 2023.
United drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest on 1 November and currently sit eighth in the Premier League standings.
United forward Bryan Mbeumo claimed the Player of the Month award for October after contributing three goals and one assist across the club’s three victories.
