Students Raise Alarm After Armed Robbers Attack Hostels
Students of Ekiti State University have raised alarm after suspected armed robbers attacked several hostels around the campus.
The incident happened in the Iworoko area of Ekiti State in the early hours of Friday, with more than five off-campus hostels reportedly targeted.
According to the student union, the attackers stormed the buildings around midnight, stealing phones, laptops, and cash from students. At least four hostels were confirmed to have been invaded during the operation.
The incident has left many students shaken, with growing concerns over safety in off-campus accommodations.
Victims are calling for urgent intervention and stronger security presence around the university environment.
