Actor Taye Arimoro has come forward with allegations against Nollywood star Peggy Ovire and her team, claiming they physically assaulted him and vandalized his car during a film shoot in Lagos.
According to Arimoro, the confrontation began after his contract for the night had ended. He said he was attempting to leave the set when the situation spiraled out of control.
In a video shared online, the actor displayed visible injuries, including a swollen lip and gum, alleging that Ovire’s team blocked his vehicle and deflated his tyres.
“My car tyres got flattened in the heat of the moment and I was stressed – and look at these injuries,” he lamented. “Yeah, I’m okay. I’m alright. I have injuries. Serious injuries, but I’m more concerned about the things in my car. I have injuries in my lower gum. It’s just crazy how things are happening.”
Arimoro said he is now seeking justice while making his experience public to clear his name and shed light on what he described as an unprovoked attack.
