Social media influencer VeryDarkMan (VDM) has hit back at reality TV star Phyna after she labeled him a “very dirty boy” and blamed their association for actress Iyabo Ojo’s fallout with her.
Phyna had shared on social media that her friendship with VDM caused tension with Iyabo Ojo, claiming the actress eventually unfollowed her and kept her distance because of their connection.
VDM responded with a lengthy post defending his actions, insisting his support for Phyna was sincere and came with no expectations. He highlighted the ways he had helped her, including promoting her movie projects, offering guidance, paying for work on her behalf, and listening to her personal concerns for hours.
“Every time you needed me, I showed up. I helped repost your new movie, I advised you, I listened when you needed someone to hear your problems. What did I get in return? Nothing. It was all pure support and love. When the Dangote matter came, I planned with you and backed you. But your greed ruined everything. Today, the people who once pushed you have left because your story no longer brings them buzz. I genuinely wish you well,” VDM wrote.
He suggested that Phyna’s choices had harmed her relationships with former supporters but stressed that he holds no grudges and still wishes her success.
The exchange has fueled online debates about loyalty, gratitude, and the complex relationships between influencers and celebrities.
