Zamfara Increases NYSC Monthly Allowances
The Zamfara State Government has announced higher monthly allowances for National Youth Service Corps members posted to the state.
Medical Corps members will now receive ₦150,000 per month, while other health professionals serving in the state will be paid ₦50,000 monthly.
The increase aims to provide better support for corps members and incentivise service in the state’s healthcare sector.
Officials say the enhanced payments are part of efforts to attract and retain skilled personnel, particularly in medical and health-related roles.
The move is expected to improve the welfare of NYSC members and strengthen health service delivery across Zamfara State.
