The long-running paternity dispute between Nigerian singer Davido and his alleged daughter, Anu Adeleke, has resurfaced after a purported DNA result was shared online.
Anu’s mother, Ayo Labinjoh, posted the result on Instagram, calling it “the ONLY DNA TEST” and dismissing claims that multiple tests had been conducted. She wrote: “Fake!! No swab, just blood. Not 2, Not 5. We still haven’t seen Davido post today online and in newspapers. Dr Olunloyo fought for Anu a lot.” The post included a message from journalist Kemi Olunloyo and a copy of the alleged DNA result, which Labinjoh said came from discussions initiated by the late family attorney Ayo Labinjoh in 2014. She insisted this remains the only verified test, contradicting Davido and his legal team’s statements that multiple tests had been done.
Olunloyo added that her 2018 investigation confirmed the 2014 DNA test as legitimate and criticized Davido for ignoring previous demands regarding Anu. She stressed: “He’s an adult, so if he wants to call his family, get advice. Ayo is not Sophia.”
Labinjoh also detailed the family’s demands, including a blind DNA test in the United States, six years of unpaid child support, ongoing monthly support until Anu turns 18, and the issuance of both Nigerian and US passports for the teenager. She concluded: “NO COMPROMISE!! FINISH!”
The revelation has reignited public debate over Anu’s paternity, with conflicting claims about DNA tests and financial responsibility continuing to dominate discussions online.
