Billionaire business magnate, Diokpa Nuel Ojei has passed away at the age of 74.
A highly regarded businessman and renowned philanthropist, Nuel Ojei, is confirmed dead.
He died on Saturday night, 27 December 2025, in his hometown of Iseleuku, Delta State.
“Diokpa Nuel Ojei, the Ogene of Iseleuku, passed last night.
“He died in his home in Iseleuku peacefully. “He was a very distinguished person who excelled in his own life.
Based in Lagos, Chief (Dr.) Nuel Ojei was widely recognised for establishing the multi-sector Nuel Ojei Holdings (NOH) conglomerate, which spans automobile distribution, oil and gas, banking, and several other sectors.
According to his biobrief, “he started from humble beginnings at Rutam Motors to becoming a major employer and benefactor in Nigeria, recognised with an honorary doctorate from Delta State University.”
