American rap superstar and producer Busta Rhymes, born Trevor Smith Jr, has revealed plans to move to Nigeria and make it his permanent home.
Speaking at the Detty December Fest, the 53-year-old artist described his visit to Nigeria as a long-awaited dream, noting that it had taken him 15 years to finally experience the country. He also expressed his intentions to invest in property and start a family while living there.
“I’m looking for a home here, I’m looking for property. I’m thinking about looking for a wife so that when I stop working, I can settle down here,” he said.
Busta Rhymes, an unmarried father of six, highlighted how special his time in Nigeria has been, hinting that the country could play a central role in his future.
