Former Big Brother Naija star Lucy Edet has announced the arrival of her baby boy, sharing a heartfelt account of her pregnancy and delivery.
In a social media post, Lucy revealed that her son was born on September 17, 2025, arriving “screaming” even before the doctors could complete routine newborn procedures.
She wrote, “Under all that anesthesia, I said ‘he didn’t even wait to be beaten’—the doctors laughed.” She described the experience as astonishing, adding, “It really did blow my mind, ‘cause you never know what to expect.”
Reflecting on her journey, Lucy expressed gratitude for a relatively smooth pregnancy, despite the emotional and mental challenges. “The whole pregnancy I was waiting for the hard painful part to start, it never came, and I’m grateful for it,” she said. She also highlighted the support of her mother and close friends, noting that their presence made her feel safe and never alone.
Although she has not shared pictures of her newborn, Lucy’s update has drawn warm congratulations and well-wishes from fans and followers.
