Momodu Urges For ADC North Ticket
Dele Momodu, publisher of Ovation magazine and a leading member of the African Democratic Congress, has urged his party to zone its 2027 presidential ticket to the north.
He said the strategy is key to strengthening the party’s chances in the elections.
Speaking on Wednesday during The Morning Show on Arise TV, Momodu stressed the need for a calculated approach to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress.
He argued that careful planning is essential to compete effectively.
Momodu also shared his personal preference for the party’s presidential candidate, stating that Atiku Abubakar is his choice.
He highlighted the importance of unity and strategic decision-making within the party.
The call comes as political parties prepare for the 2027 elections, with zoning and candidate selection emerging as key discussions.
ADC leaders are expected to deliberate on the move to enhance their electoral position.
