Obi, Makinde Pays Sallah Visit In Kano
Peter Obi and Seyi Makinde travelled to Kano to pay a Sallah visit to Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso during the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, drawing a large crowd of supporters.
The visit formed part of the festive activities, with Obi saying it was aimed at honouring Kwankwaso and celebrating the season.
He noted that the gathering was not about politics but about goodwill and respect.
During the meeting, Obi spoke about plans to revive Kano’s economic strength, pointing to efforts to restore key industrial areas and bring back the city’s manufacturing base.
He said renewed focus on production would help boost growth and opportunities.
Supporters of Kwankwaso turned out in large numbers to welcome the visitors, adding energy to the event as the celebrations continued across the state.
