Otti Plans Exit From National Grid
Alex Otti says his administration is in advanced talks to take Abia State off the national power grid.
He explained that discussions are ongoing and nearing completion as part of efforts to improve electricity supply across the state.
The move is expected to give Abia more control over its power generation and distribution, reducing reliance on the national grid, which has faced frequent challenges.
Officials believe the plan could lead to more stable electricity for residents and businesses, while also supporting industrial growth in the state.
