Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembele has been named FIFA Best Men’s Player of 2025, capping a sensational year for the French winger.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a remarkable season, winning Ligue 1, the Champions League, and the Coupe de France with PSG. He also helped the club reach the final of the Club World Cup, feats that contributed to him securing his first-ever Ballon d’Or, widely regarded as football’s most prestigious individual honour.
Dembele was announced as the winner at Tuesday’s FIFA ceremony in Doha, Qatar, beating fellow nominees Kylian Mbappe and Lamine Yamal. FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the award as Dembele took the stage to receive the accolade.
PSG are currently in Qatar this week, preparing to face Flamengo in the inaugural Intercontinental Cup Final.
