Comedian Michael Blackson has publicly apologized to his fiancee, Rada, after fathering a child with another woman just weeks after celebrating the birth of their son.
Blackson and Rada recently welcomed their son, Mikey, on June 17, 2025. However, he also had a second son, King Kweku Blackson, with a longtime female friend on August 6, 2025. In an Instagram post, he expressed regret over his actions, stating that he loves both of his new sons equally.
He revealed that his older twin sons and even his mother only recently learned about the new baby. Blackson also disclosed that Rada has left him and pleaded for her forgiveness.
“Two months after Rada gave birth to little Mikey, a female friend I’ve known for over five years also gave birth to my son King Kweku Blackson. My two boys have brought so much joy to my life but also caused me to lose my fiancée Rada,” he wrote.
“My apologies for waiting so long but I didn’t know how to do it. My older twin boys who are now 18 didn’t find out till last night, and my own mom didn’t even know. I love kids and I want to thank God for bringing me two more healthy boys. My apologies to Rada and I hope she forgives me for the pain I’ve brought her. I’m going to be the best loving father in the world.”
He added humorously: “To avoid turning into Nick Cannon or Elon Musk, I’m only dating women that ran out of period or had a hysterectomy.”
Earlier in August, Rada opened up about suffering postpartum depression and caring for their son alone. Michael responded by saying his responsibility was to fund their son’s lifestyle. Their son Mikey was born while Blackson briefly stepped out to get coffee, a moment they later joked about, saying it reduced Rada’s stress and spared him from seeing the birth directly.
Blackson’s apology comes amid public scrutiny of his actions and the strain it has caused on his relationship with Rada.
