Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has announced plans to return to school in order to gain better control over his music career and business affairs.
The Zazu hitmaker explained that while he already holds an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, he now wishes to deepen his knowledge to properly handle the business aspects of his growing brand.
Portable stated that his decision stems from a desire to manage his record label, Zeh Nation, and other ventures more effectively rather than relying entirely on others for direction.
“Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education so I can understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation,” he said.
He added that his return to school is not just about earning another qualification but about acquiring the right skills to run his music empire like a true entrepreneur.
