Nigerian singer Qdot has shared the lasting emotional impact of a robbery at his Lagos residence, revealing that the experience has left him traumatized and struggling with sleep.
In an Instagram post, the artist said that although the incident occurred on September 28, the fear and anxiety continue to affect him. He explained that every night around 2:30 a.m.—the exact time the robbery took place—he wakes up in panic, unable to rest.
Qdot described how the ordeal has disrupted his peace of mind and made him feel constantly on edge. He expressed a desire for healing and called on the government to take stronger measures to improve security and prevent such attacks.
Tagging the Lagos State Government and the Lagos Police, Qdot wrote: “28th of September has passed, but I am still not myself. The trauma is still alive in me. Every night, at exactly 2:30 a.m. the same time the accident happened I wake up in fear. Sleep has left me. My heart is never at rest. I am scared all the time, and it feels like those people are coming back again. I pray this painful and terrifying experience will finally release my mind. I pray for peace. I pray for healing. This suffering will only truly end if the government puts in more effort.”

Even though September 28 has passed, the trauma is still with me. I wake up every night at 2:30 a.m. in fear and can no longer sleep peacefully. I pray for healing and peace, and for stronger government action so this suffering can finally end @followlasg… pic.twitter.com/MnblPuzvyd
