Regina Daniels has shared a heartfelt message celebrating her parents, Rita Daniels and Barrister Jude Ojegwu, after they reunited to help secure the release of her brother, Sammy West, who remains in detention allegedly on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko.
Posting affectionate photos of her parents in Abuja, the actress expressed gratitude and emotion over their reconciliation, describing it as a moment that brought her peace and happiness.
She wrote:
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation? They are currently in Abuja. Bro Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out — or rather, I will march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!
My father is a lawyer — actually one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later. And my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, Mom and Dad! This is all I actually ever wanted.”
The post comes amid growing concern over Sammy’s prolonged detention. Reports indicate he was arrested in Lagos and taken to Abuja, a situation that has sparked outrage among Regina’s fans and fellow celebrities.
Beyond her frustration, Regina’s message highlighted a powerful moment of unity in her family. Her parents, once estranged, have now joined forces in the capital to fight for their son’s freedom — a sight that the actress described as an answered prayer.
For Regina, the reunion represents more than just a response to her brother’s situation; it symbolizes healing, strength, and the fulfillment of a lifelong desire to see her parents stand together once again.
