After Regina Daniels took to social media to lament that her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, had ordered the arrest of her siblings, her mother, Rita Daniels, stormed the police station in anger—confronting the businessman and publicly rejecting his so-called wealth.
Eyewitnesses said the visibly agitated mother arrived at the station demanding the release of her children and unleashed a fiery tirade that drew a large crowd. Rita accused Ned of betrayal, claiming she had once stood by him, supported his political ambition, and helped polish his public image before he turned against her family.
In her outburst, she fumed:
“You wanted a crown, you wanted someone with a high star so they could boost your own falling star. I swallowed it and kept quiet because I was covering you. But now, the same way you went up, you will come down. If you think you can bite the finger that fed you, you will go down!
Which money are you even bragging about? We were the ones covering you, making you look important. How much did Gina even give you—₦50,000? And how much did you not give—$3,000? That’s what my Dwight gave you to support your election! I poured all my resources into your campaign, you ungrateful man!
Now you’re feeling proud because of your gold digger? What digger? I was the one covering your shame! Go and see Ned Nwoko’s children—do they even look like billionaire children? Have you gone to see them?”
As she vented, a voice from the crowd shouted, “Mama, we have seen it o!”
The confrontation, captured on video, has since gone viral, sparking a social media frenzy. Many Nigerians expressed shock at the depth of the family crisis, which has now cast a shadow over Regina Daniels’ marriage to the Delta-born politician.
