The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday approved a bill prescribing life imprisonment for paedophiles and anyone found guilty of engaging in sexual activity with minors.
According to the provisions of the bill, from now on in Nigeria, any man or woman who engages in sexual intercourse with a minor (child) will face life imprisonment without the option of a fine.
