Why APC Says Wike is Not It’s Concern
The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Nentawe Yilwatda, has dismissed suggestions that Nyesom Wike poses any issue for the ruling party.
He said the ongoing political tension in Rivers State does not concern the APC.
Yilwatda explained that the disagreement between Wike and Governor Siminalayi Fubara is an internal matter of the Peoples Democratic Party.
According to him, both politicians are members of the opposition party and their differences fall outside APC control.
He made this known on Tuesday while speaking during an interview on Channels Television. He stressed that the APC has no reason to interfere in disputes that do not involve its structure or leadership.
The APC chairman added that his party remains focused on its own agenda and governance, rather than being drawn into conflicts within rival parties.
