Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of 82 aides to reinforce his administration and improve service delivery across the state.

The newly appointed aides comprise 16 Senior Special Assistants and 66 Special Assistants.
The development was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, and conveyed through the Public Relations Officer in the SSG’s office.
According to the statement, the appointments were made to enhance effective governance in critical sectors of the state’s administration.
It explained that the selection process was guided by merit, competence, and proven integrity.
The Secretary to the State Government expressed confidence in the appointees, urging them to justify the trust placed in them by making meaningful contributions to the development of Jigawa State.
He congratulated the new aides and charged them to demonstrate dedication, commitment, and diligence in their responsibilities.
The appointees were also encouraged to support the successful execution of the policies and programmes of the current administration.
The statement confirmed that all the appointments take effect immediately.
