Former president aide Reno Omokri has opined that the Obidient movement is a threat to Nigeria’s national security, stating that the Obidient family were set up to terrorize anybody who does not sheepishly and unreasonable support both online and offline, their principal Peter Obi.
Reno also compared the Obidient movement to IPOB stating that there is no difference between the two groups.
“There is no difference between the Obidient movement and IPOB, none whatsoever, look at their modules operandi, Nnamdi Kanu heads the IPOB violent arm while Peter Obi leads the Political Arm. Many of those who run catfish accounts on Twitter for Peter Obi are core IPOB members “
He further mentioned that the both the Obidient movement and IPOB have successfully bullied almost every one in the Nigerian public space, hence he stated that what Peter Obi said about Tinubu borrowing more than Yaradua, Jonathan and Buhari is a lie crafted by IPOB and given to Obi to propagate.
