The Lagos–Ibadan Expressway crash on Monday has put British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua’s £100m mega-fight with Tyson Fury in jeopardy.
Joshua was pulled alive from a wrecked SUV, but two of his close friends who were travelling with him died in the accident.
Reports suggest that Joshua may have sustained more serious injuries than initially disclosed, including potential knee and rib damage, leaving his participation in the highly anticipated bout uncertain.
Videos circulating online show Joshua in visible pain as he was carried from the damaged vehicle, heightening concerns about his ability to compete in the blockbuster fight.
