Rapper Blueface is officially back home after serving time in prison, and he’s already giving fans a glimpse of life post-incarceration. His mother, Karlissa Saffold, first hinted at his release with a lighthearted video showing a man lying under bed covers.
Later, Blueface confirmed his freedom with a selfie video, telling fans to engage quickly before he puts his Instagram account on private.
In the clip, the rapper appears shirtless, wearing a diamond chain and a white cap. “Blueface home,” he laughs, teasing a “secret society” vibe while announcing he plans to make his account private within 24 hours. The video quickly racked up more than 11,000 reactions in just an hour, marking the first time fans have seen or heard from him since his release.
Blueface had turned himself in January 2024 for violating probation tied to a 2021 assault conviction. Last August, a judge sentenced him to four years, but he served 21 months before being released, according to XXL.
Earlier in October, Karlissa told TMZ that fans would be seeing her son “in days.” She also shared updates on his physical transformation, revealing that he gained 70 pounds in prison while focusing on his fitness and preparing for life outside. She emphasized that she and Blueface’s father, Jonathan Sr., intend to hold him accountable for his actions, though how he navigates freedom is ultimately his decision.
To celebrate his return, Karlissa teased that a homecoming event has been in the works. Before Blueface officially confirmed his release, she excited fans with a clip of his son peeking at a man asleep in bed and posted a simple, heartfelt Instagram Story: “Thank you God.”
