The Nigeria Customs Service has seized 22 parcels of suspected c%caine valued at about N1 billion along the Badagry–Seme corridor in Lagos State.

The interception was carried out during routine patrol operations in the border area.

Officers reportedly discovered the suspected drugs concealed in a vehicle moving through the route.

The consignment was handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and testing.

Customs officials said the seizure is part of ongoing efforts to curb smuggling and the movement of illegal substances through Nigeria’s borders.

The Badagry–Seme axis remains a key route for cross-border trade and security operations.

Authorities have vowed to intensify surveillance in the area and bring those behind the shipment to justice as investigations continue.
