Dangote Refinery Reduces Fuel Price
Dangote Refinery has reduced its gantry price of petrol by ₦75, bringing the cost down to ₦1,200 per litre.
The price cut is expected to ease pressure on fuel marketers and could lead to slight reductions at filling stations if the change is passed on to consumers.
It also signals growing activity and influence of the refinery in Nigeria’s fuel market.
Industry watchers say such adjustments may help stabilise prices over time, especially as local refining capacity improves.
However, the final pump price will still depend on distribution costs and other market factors.
