Actress Doris Ogala has reportedly been taken into police custody during a live-streamed interview with an online host.
Midway through the session, the interviewer asked, “The police are in your house?” to which Ogala replied, “Yes, the police are in my house.”
During the livestream, Ogala was heard reprimanding someone she referred to as “Charity,” accusing the person of allowing visitors into her home against her instructions. The interviewer asked whether the police had presented a warrant and advised Ogala to stay connected to the livestream.
News of her alleged arrest was also shared on Instagram by comedian and former Big Brother Naija housemate Dee One, who wrote: “Doris Ogala has just been arrested. I tried to warn her; the allegations did not add up. Now she will have to defend her story in court. Everywhere good, my people.”
Attempts to reach Ogala for comment were unsuccessful, as calls and WhatsApp messages went unanswered. Efforts to get further remarks from Dee One also yielded no response at the time of publication.
This incident follows Ogala’s recent social media post, later deleted, which allegedly showed a man named Okafor in a private setting. In the caption, she accused him of deceit and claimed to have video evidence supporting her allegations.
